EDED20421 – PP1 (e-learning)Assessment 2 – Product design using information communication technology – 50%
Introduction
The final assessment is to design an e-product using information communication technologies. The purpose of this assessment is to build, expand and enhance your existing repertoire of technological competencies and explore the dimensions of e-learning. There are four (4) parts to this assessment. Part 1. Design product or solution Each student will design an e-learning solution or e-product (online or offline) that will demonstrate new computing and communication technologies learnt throughout the course. Each student should identify within their learning/work context how their e-product can help build capacity for e-learning and/or be used as a learning tool.
Part 2. Product description Each student will write a maximum 500 words describing their e-product using the ADDIE design framework (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). What did you do, why did you do it, how did you do it, etc. A template is provided.
Part 3. Application for grade Each student will make an application for grade (self evaluate their e-product) using the assessment criteria for this task. You must submit this criteria sheet with your product. Examples of e-products are available in Moodle, along with tutorials for software use and appropriate references. Students should also refer to the criteria sheet. Using the assessment criteria, you are asked to reflect and evaluate your e-product. Your application for grade will be considered by your course lecturer/tutor and the grade awarded will be decided using a combination of your application, lecturer’s comments and criteria. Students should understand the assessment criteria sheet before designing their e-product.
Part 4. Submission ALL student assessments will be inclusive of an ADDIE evaluation, assessment criteria sheet and the e-product (which may be on DVD, CD, video, memory stick, etc). Marked assessments will be returned to students via the mail or can be collected from your designated campus if handed in on-campus. How to submit? FLEX or off-campus students should download the assessment cover sheet provided from e-rolment (where you enrol in courses) and mail with their assessment to the following address: Assignment Coordinator Student Service Centre Central Queensland University Building 5 Bruce Highway NORTH ROCKHAMPTON QLD 4700
NB: The submission of this assessment has been changed to an online submission
